my reflection on class

Now we are in the fourth quarter! Next week we are going to find ourselves in MAY! We have so much to do before the end of the school year.

I have so many questions….

What are my students MOST curious about?

What do they want to research? Why are they always soooo sleepy?

How can we learn the important “stuff” together?

Where will our discoveries take us?

Collaborating JOY!

I am connecting my class with a class in TEXAS!Yee-HAW! I got to meet my wonderful comrade-in-the-classroom last night via FaceTime, how cool is that?
And, I’m still on my Vampyre tear:

and of course re-reading Joe Pitt

Who knew I would love such gore? The girl who was all rainbows &

The new semester is nearly upon us and I for one, am PSYCHED!!!

It’s December people!

That means it’s time to try a new book! Post a new blog post! Start something new and exciting! and get ready for more holifday cheer!

Yes, I am a BIG fan of exclamation points!

I was THRILLED by the size of our new library club group. First meeting ROCKED! We are going to continue improving our awesome library to even more awesome level. JOIN US!

Obsessed.

I devoured the first 5 books of the A Song of Ice and Fire series. THANK YOU GEORGE R.R. MARTIN!!! and I’m hungry for more! I’m not sure why I found this so compelling–I mean, yes I am a major fantasy freak and this is definitely high fantasy but geez, I could not stop reading. I think it’s the different perspectives, all the characters I get to get inside–Daenerys, Jon Snow, Ned Stark, Arya, I could go on and on and on. I care about these people. I need to find out what happens to them! Hope I can create such characters some day.
